Rest in peace Jeanie. You fought a great fight and now is the time to rest. To Paul, so sorry for your loss.

You were a lovely lady when I knew you.  I hope your life was as fulfilling as you wished.  My condolences to your family.  Heaven has another Angel.

I miss my dear friend Jeanie.  I first met her when she and her parents moved to Blue Ash and she joined our sixth grade class.  She was beautiful and outspoken with a quick wit.  She was always so enthusiastic and quick to laugh.  We became close friends and had wonderful times with our other close friends Norma Van Hook Moore, Pat Foley Jones, and Donna Herrman Cuneo. There are so many happy memories and we were blessed to stay safe with our many crazy adventures.

After Jeanie and Paul were married Jeanie’s Mom and Dad were visiting. Her Dad whispered to Jeanie and me that he wanted to talk with us.  We stepped outside and he said “after all these years I still wonder where you would go when I gave you my car to go to the library.  I would check the odometer and it would be increased by fifty to a hundred miles!”  He kept our secret all those years.

Six months after my daughter Terri was born, Jeanie and Paul’s son, Mark, was born. Sometimes while babysitting Mark, I would take Mark and Terri shopping.  People would stop me all the time to talk to them and tell me how cute my twins were.

I am so glad we all have the wonderful memories of spending our forty-fifth reunion with Jeanie, Paul and Mark in their beautiful home.

Jeanie was beautiful.............inside and out.  There are so many great memories of all of our adventures together and some we can only laugh about now...... but probably shouldn't post :)  Jeanie, Glenda, Donna Kay, Patti and I were inseparable during our high school years and we will always have those precious  memories of our friendships..........and I am so thankful for that.  I know Jeanie has her wings now and is (again) a free spirit!
