Doug did not actually graduate with our class but did attend many years in the Sycamore School District including grade school at Blue Ash Elementary. It is believed that he moved away during his senior year.
It was learned by a committee member that Doug passed away in August, 2002. We also know that Doug worked at Xomox Corporation for several years as an assembler and was married to MyraJoy. Doug had an extended family that consisted of 2 daughters from a previous marriage as well as a step-son. We also know that Doug spent nine years in the US Navy with two tours in VietNam. Nothing more is known about Doug or his family.

Doug left SHS during his senior year and transferred to Oneida Baptist Institute in Oneida, KY where he graduated in 1963. Shortly after high school he enlisted in the US Navy following in the footsteps of his Navy veteran father, Lloyd Kenney. Doug was always fun-loving and seemingly care-free. It came as a surprise to learn that he had died of a sudden heart attack. Too soon, too early and much too young. He was a good friend and a fun classmate. Jerry Lovell
